Sonia Gandhi Urges Voters to End BJP's Corruption in Karnataka Poll Rally

Congress President Sonia Gandhi made her first poll rally in Karnataka on Thursday and urged voters to end the corruption and misgovernance of the BJP government by electing the Congress party.

Gandhi addressed a gathering in Basavakalyan, which is a part of Bidar district in the northern region of Karnataka. She highlighted the various issues faced by the people of Karnataka, including rising fuel prices, unemployment, and farmers' distress.

"The BJP government has failed to fulfill its promises made during the previous elections and has only indulged in corruption and loot," Gandhi said.

Gandhi also criticized the BJP's central leadership for their lack of concern for the farmers' protests and their silence on the controversial farm laws. She assured the people that the Congress party would repeal these laws and work towards improving the lives of farmers.

"The Congress party has a track record of standing up for the rights of farmers and the poor. We will continue to fight for their welfare and upliftment," she said.

Gandhi concluded her speech by urging voters to exercise their right to vote and make the right choice for a better future. The Congress party is contesting the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections in alliance with the JD(S) party.

"Your vote is precious. Use it wisely and make the right choice. Vote for the Congress-JD(S) alliance and bring back good governance in Karnataka," she said.
